“How We Found Our Pride” Scholarship
The ALC in partnership with Capital Blue Cross Pride Scholarship – $1,000.00
The American Literacy Corporation (ALC) through the sales of the How We Found Our Pride: Letters to a Young Queer book along with a matching donation has established a scholarship for LGBTQ+ students attending HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
The ALC and Capital Blue Cross are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ALC Pride Scholarship in partnership with Capital Blue Cross will be awarded to one deserving member of the LGBTQ+ community pursuing a degree at HACC in the fall of 2023 and in the spring of 2024.
