The American Literacy Corporation (ALC) will host the 6th Annual Central PA Writers and Illustrators Summer Camp at Ray’s Place Community Center in-person June 28 to July 2, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The camp is for students going into the 3rd through 8th grade in the fall of 2021. This five-day creative writing camp will introduce students to various types of creative writing such as short stories, poetry, journals, essays, letters, speeches, blogging and more. Art lessons will complement the writing lessons.
The registration fee is the same. This is an all-day camp with lunch provided. Nice area with access to a park, pavilion, trees, walking trail, riverfront, etc. I’m just glad to get back to teaching the kids writing and art in person. Space is limited to 25 children.
